STELLA is a 244 unit luxury midrise apartment home community located in Marina del Rey, CA. STELLA will be the ideal location for professionals who enjoy the beach and the West Side of Los Angeles. Only minutes from LAX, it is also a short commute to major job centers such as Westwood, Century City, and downtown Los Angeles. Stella is located in the heart of Marina del Rey and across the street from the 6,100 boat slip marina as well as Mother’s Beach and numerous upscale restaurants, retailers and a Gelsons market. The property will also feature 9,000 S.F. of retail space including FED-EX Office and a wine bar / restaurant.
“The Clubhouse” will be the social center of the community. Amenities at the Clubhouse will include: a business center, a cyber café and coffee bar with a 60” LCD TV, meeting rooms, and a professional gourmet event kitchen that will be used for cooking classes and private parties. All areas will be wireless “Hot Spots” so that residents may enjoy an internet connection anytime throughout the common areas. Also incorporated into the design of the common areas are state-of-the-art lighting controls, solar power, and a high efficiency HVAC system.
“The Screening Room” is a 21 seat HD movie theater. Because of the proximity to Hollywood and residents who are engaged in the entertainment industry, this state-of-the-art facility could be used for film screenings, video editing, or just a movie night with friends.

There are two buildings planned; with townhomes, live work units, and flats. Over twenty distinct floor plans offer design features such as modern "Energy Star" appliances, full size side by side and stackable washer and dryers located within the unit, nine-foot ceilings, covered garage parking, private patios and decks, large walk-in closets, and garden bathtubs in each master bath. Each unit shall be pre-wired with fiber optic connections for internet access, cable, and satellite television.
The development team is currently in the process of selecting the specifications for the interior finishes. Below is the anticipated specification level:
Kitchens: Stainless steel or Clean Steel “Energy Star” appliances, which include the range/oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and stainless steel sinks with pull-out faucets. Cabinets will be in white and/or walnut color stain, with granite countertops, and tile or “hardwood floor” look linoleum.
Bathrooms: White and walnut color cabinets, granite countertops, chrome center set faucets by Delta or Moen, white porcelain sinks, tile tub/shower with dual vanities. Bath flooring will consist of the “hardwood look” linoleum.
Living areas: We’ve selected Shaw “Eco Choice” Carpet which carries the CRI Green Label Plus® seal. All units will feature 3 ½” inch baseboards, Low VOC paint in a neutral tone, modern light fixtures, French patio doors and Milgard Low E glass and dual paned windows. All rooms will also be pre-wired for ceiling fans.
